Alaska flags are at half-staff in honor of the victims of Sunday morning's mass shooting in Orlando, Florida.

Governor Walker ordered flags lowered, following President Obama's proclamation to lower U-S flags through Thursday.

Governor Walker added that the deaths 49 people at a nightclub has effects beyond Florida, and he pledged that Alaska stands against what he called an "act of terrorism" -- reportedly the most deadly since 2001.
