Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - It’s November, which means public voting for the Alaska Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2020 is open.

Every year the public plays a role in deciding the people, moments and events to be inducted into the Alaska Sports Hall of Fame.

A current list of candidates is here, but you can vote by using the “write-in” option, start a write-in campaign or submit a recommendation to be posted on the ASHOF website and shared with the selection panel.

Your choice will be added to the candidates' page if they receive more votes than a candidate already on the page, or they appear on a selection panel member ballot.

Among others, some notable Southeast inductees from past years include former MLB pitcher Chad Bentz and former NBA star Carlos Boozer.

You can email info@alaskasportshall.org with questions.
