Indictments returned in drug and assault cases

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) A Juneau grand jury returned indictments in six cases.

Lance Smith, 31,  was facing a charge of unlawful evasion in the first degree.  He allegedly failed to return to detention after being given
permission to attend an appointment.

Robert Hooper, 38,  was charged with robbery in the first degree for an incident December 26th in the 3000 block of Vintage Drive that involved alcohol.

Kelly Gunderson, 57, was indicted on charges of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second degree in Wrangell.  She allegedly delivered marijuana to a person under 19 on October 1st.

Jonelle Bjorge, 65, was arrested for assault in the third degree.  Wrangell police claim she used a knife in the assault December 26th.
Brina Compton, 23, was indicted on two counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance for methamphetamine and heroin in Petersburg on December 19.

Ronald Skoog, 34, was indicted on a charge of theft in the second degree for an incident on November 23.
