Norwegians top Iditarod leader board

Anchorage, Alaska (KINY) Joar Ulsom was in first place at the halfway point of the Iditarod 2018.

Ulsom won $3,000 in gold nuggets for being the first musher to reach the halfway point as he pulled into Iditarod, an old ghost town.  Lars Monsen of Norway was in second place.  The next three on the leader board are Alaskans.  Larry Daugherty, was third, four-time champion Jeff King was fourth and defending champion Mitch Seavey was in fifth place.
