Rat stops Alaska Airlines flight

Oakland, California (KINY) Alaska Airlines said they were forced to cancel a flight after a rat jumped onto their plane as passenger were boarding Tuesday.

The flight was bound from Oakland to Portland Oregon when a rat jumped from the jet way onto the plane.  Most of the 110 passengers on board were booked for a later flight.  The company said it had an exterminator take care of the problem.  The plane will be fully inspected for damage before it flies again.
