Traffic stop nets two arrests

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - A traffic stop Sunday afternoon resulted in the arrests of two people by Juneau Police.

A dispatch from the department says 64-year-old Jonathan Herbert Sumner Stetson was cited and released for driving without a valid license.

A passenger, 27-year-old Katrina Ethel Fraker was arrested on two Alaska State Trooper warrants.  One was failure to appear for a court appearance on the original charge of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fifth degree and violating conditions of release.   The other was related to failure to appear in court on a charge related to violating conditions of release.  She was jailed at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

The vehicle was stopped shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday in the 4400 block of Sesame Street.

The vehicle was impounded.
