Vincent-Lang Named as Acting ADF&G Commisioner

Doug Vincent-Lang has been named as Acting Commissioner of the Department of Fish and Game.

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Vincent-Lang is a veteran of the department with more than three decades of experience in wildlife research and management.

Governor Mike Dunleavy has appointed Doug Vincent-Lang as Acting Commissioner of the Department of Fish and Game.

Vincent-Lang is a veteran of the department with more than three decades of experience in wildlife research and management. He previously served as Division Director for Wildlife Management, Special Assistant and Assistant Director to the Division of Sport Fish, and as a research biologist.

Commissioner Vincent-Lang earned a B.S. degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and an M.S. degree in biological oceanography from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
