Roadwork resulted in damage to water main, cutting off nearby residents in the area of Foster Ave. and Cordova St.
According to Water Utility Superintendent Samantha Stoughtenger, crews have repaired the water main as of approximately 4:00 p.m., and previously affected residents should have access to running water.

A water main has been broken in downtown Juneau over the course of continued roadwork.
Water is reported to be out in the area of Cordova St. and Foster Ave.
According to a representative of the CBJ Public Works Department, crews are currently working to assess the damage and restore service to the affected areas as quickly as possible.
